Role
We are looking for you as a System Engineer:in (w/m/d) for infraView GmbH at the Mainz location as soon as possible.
This is a "Wo du Willst-Job" (Work where you want job): In coordination with your manager, you can decide where you want to work within Germany and choose between mobile working and working in the office. Your official office will be contractually agreed upon – if there are several advertised locations, the decision will be made in a conversation between you and your manager.
Responsibilities
- In your role, you are responsible for the operation and further development of our cloud infrastructure in AWS (esp. EKS)
- You also support and optimize our Kubernetes (K8s) cluster
- The setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI also fall within your area of responsibility
- Automation and scripting with Python is part of your daily work
- Finally, you take care of monitoring and logging with tools like Grafana, CloudWatch
Qualifications
- The basis of your career is a successfully completed degree in computer science (business informatics or computer science) or professional experience in the relevant field
- Your profile shows several years of practical experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), especially with EKS, as well as knowledge in Kubernetes, in managing and troubleshooting clusters
- You have experience with GitLab CI/CD for automating build, test, and deployment processes, as well as in managing and operating microservices in Go, C#, or Java
- You have know-how in the area of security and vulnerability monitoring, e.g. with Fortify, Trivy, DefectDojo
- You also have experience with Identity and Access Management (e.g. IAM roles in AWS, OAuth2/OpenID)
- Ideally, you have knowledge of DevSecOps principles and common security frameworks (OWASP, CIS Benchmarks)
