About Us

For 35 years, we have been a reliable partner for well-known clients in the financial and banking sector, industry and trade, as well as public clients. More than 230 consultants, developers, and project managers stand for our success. They conceptualize and develop tailor-made IT solutions that help our clients to be successful. We promote the internal exchange of opinions and knowledge among our employees.

Your Tasks

• You support and advise our customers nationwide – remotely or on-site at the customer's premises – in the setup, operation, and further development of complex Linux systems.
• You convey techniques, methods, and best practices of system integration to colleagues and customers – hands-on, understandable, and on an equal footing.
• You actively contribute your skills to our System Integration area and drive topics forward both technically and operationally.
• You follow current IT trends, try out new technologies, and evaluate tools and frameworks for their use with our customers.
• Following our guiding principle 'Knowledge increases by sharing it', you pass on your know-how – in projects, internally within the team, in training courses, or in exchanges with students.
• True to our guiding principle 'Knowledge increases by sharing it', you pass on your know-how to others – both to your colleagues and our students, and in projects with customers. You also share your knowledge in our ORDIX® blog, as a speaker in our seminars, or at technical conferences – according to your strengths.

Your Profile

• You have a university degree (university or university of applied sciences) in computer science or a comparable qualification – and above all, several years of experience in IT operations.
• You enjoy IT topics and are enthusiastic about Linux, Open Source, and system-level technologies.
• You have many years of experience in setting up and operating complex environments.
• Administering Linux and Unix systems is a matter of course for you.
• You are an IT all-rounder and feel at home in modern infrastructure and operating topics. These include, for example:
  • Linux and Unix administration
  • Automation (Ansible, Puppet, Salt, Terraform)
  • Scripting (Bash, Python)
  • Virtualization (KVM, VMware)
  • Monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Elastic Stack)
  • Network infrastructure (routing, firewalls, DNS, load balancing)
• Knowledge in the areas of DevOps methods and CI/CD is an advantage.
• Initial experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) is helpful; however, you can also acquire this knowledge with us.
• You have experience with at least one public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Bonus: You have expertise in storage systems (SAN, NAS, SDS).
• You communicate clearly, present confidently, and have a sovereign demeanor – both internally and externally.
• You have perfect command of German, both spoken and written, and good English skills.
