Main Responsibilities

  • Translate product requirements and key features into test plans and detailed test procedures.
  • Set up test equipment and execute test cases across various phases, including system integration, OTA validation, and engineering field testing.
  • Integrate and test the complete satellite user terminal, including active phased array antennas.
  • Interface with customers during Engineering Field Testing (EFT), developing test plans, running test cases, preparing reports, and coordinating feedback.
  • Support Limited Availability (LA) and General Availability (GA) product phases, ensuring seamless transitions and issue resolution.
  • Write automated scripts for system and component testing (while scripting experience is a plus, it is not a deal‑breaker for this role).
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues in a fast‑paced and evolving environment.
  • Manage test case tracking and validation against requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including engineering and external development partners.
  • Assist with product deployment and certification efforts.
  • Travel to customer and EFT sites as needed (up to 15% travel based on project needs).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and five (5+) years of experience, or Master’s Degree and three (3+) years of experience
  • Test plan development based on product requirements
  • Experienced in testing SatCom products specifically user terminal components
  • Strong troubleshooting and triaging skills in a fast‑paced environment
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with others to resolve complex problems, work with cross‑functional teams, resolve conflicts and move projects forward
  • Network troubleshooting skills; DHCP, TCP/IPv4 & v6, Sub‑netting, routing, VLANs, etc.
  • Experience with test management tools and Microsoft Office
  • Travel up to 15% domestic or overseas (as needed)

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • 1+ years of experience with Linux platforms
  • Experience with RF testing and usage of RF equipment like spectrum analyzer, signal generator etc.
  • 1+ years of scripting or programming experience (Python, Shell)
  • Experience with SharePoint, Confluence and Jira

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Occasional lifting of materials up to 25 lbs (e.g., equipment, prototypes, documents).
  • Ability to move within an office, lab, or manufacturing environment as needed.
