System Test Analyst

About the Job

The System Test Analyst will support the C2BMC program and will be responsible for conducting wide-ranging analyses of C2BMC performance during integration, ground test, flight test, and real-world events.

Non-standard work hours may be required on occasion, depending on test or fielding schedules

Position is based at Schriever SFB in Colorado Springs, CO but travel to other National Team locations (e.g., Huntsville, HWY83) may be required

The Work You'll Do

The System Test Team conducts the planning and analysis of all MDS ground tests and flight tests in which the C2BMC program is a participant. Ground test types include: pairwise tests, Continuous Developmental Integration (CDI), Integrated Ground Test (GTI), Distributed Ground Test (GTD), cyber tests, Space Domain Awareness (SDA), and pre-flight test HWIL efforts. Flight tests are conducted with pre-determined sensors and shooters. International events are comprised of various ground tests and flight tests. The System Test Analyst is responsible for conducting wide-ranging analyses of C2BMC performance during integration, ground test, flight test, and real-world events. The System Test Analyst is also responsible for:

• Verifying C2BMC compliance with system specifications, ICDs, etc.
• Validating C2BMC performance against MDS and C2BMC test objectives in support of mission data reviews and fielding decisions
• Supporting NT development teams in troubleshooting, determining root cause, and validating fixes during MDS' system-wide discrepancy resolution process
• Developing, modifying, and implementing analysis tools
• Collaborating with FFRDC and other MDS analysis groups during test- and real-world analysis efforts
• Coordinating with Execution Leads, Data Managers, program leadership, and Government customers
• Supporting the NT Chief Analyst
• Acting as backup Data Manager as needed

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 9 years of experience, or Master’s Degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience
• Active Secret clearance required to start
• Active IAT Level II (Security+ or equivalent) required to start
• At least 9 years prior experience as a systems analyst
• Familiar with Linux and Windows environments
• One or more coding skils: Python, Java, MATLAB, etc.
• Bash or similar scripting experience
• Ability to autonomously develop analysis tools
• Self-starter with good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with the Government customer as well as personnel internal and external to the program

Preferred

• Technical knowledge of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Missile Defense System (MDS) including sensors, shooters, command and control systems, and networks
• Prior analysis experience on the C2BMC program and/or other MDS elements
• Experience analyzing complex, message-based systems
• Experience with message sets: Link-16, ATOMS, VMF, BSX, etc.
• Development and automation of Data Management processes, scripts, and tools

Salary Range

$120,000 - $163,000
