System Test Engineer - Secure Radio Communication

Your role in the team

• You analyze the technical system requirements and system use cases in the field of military radio communication systems and design the system test concepts and the system test environment.
• You develop test strategies and test plans at the system or subsystem level for test automation and manual testing, including regression testing.
• You implement integration and test environments for system and subsystem testing and conduct system tests in the laboratory and in the field.
• You ensure the technical quality of the delivered systems, prepare internal and external commissioning, and conduct customer acceptance tests.
• You support the development in continuous system integration as well as in testing and system troubleshooting.
• You analyze and describe system errors and provide on-site follow-up support at the customer's location.
• You support System Engineering in conducting endurance tests.

Qualifications

• You have knowledge in secure communication systems and are familiar with system testing tools and programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
• You can quickly grasp complex contexts and prepare them appropriately for concepts and presentations tailored to the target audience.
• You are an open-minded, well-structured individual with good communication skills and enjoy teamwork.
• You possess negotiation-level proficiency in both German and English, in spoken and written form.

Experience

• Ideally, you have experience in military radio communication solutions and in the EU & NATO environment.

Education

• You have a completed (technical) university degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, network engineering, computer science, or a similar field, and you bring relevant professional experience.
