SmartTECS specializes in the design, development, integration, and testing of vehicles and their subsystems (electrical, control, mechanical).

What to expect from us

• Review of incoming documents (requirements, designs, circuit diagrams) and creation of test plans
• Responsibility for the proof of functions and tests against customer requirements within the scope of type approvals for rail vehicles
• Creation of the requirements specification and coordination with developers, suppliers, customers, and appraisers
• Creation of type test instructions and vehicle test specifications for type and series tests
• Support of the initial commissioning of subsystems or entire vehicles
• Execution of type tests (static and dynamic) and vehicle tests
• Creation of validation and test reports
• Support with troubleshooting, error correction, and initial commissioning

What we expect from you

• Completed degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar
• Experience in carrying out type and series tests on rail vehicles is desirable
• Extensive knowledge in the area of test and validation is desirable
• System knowledge regarding hardware and software components in rail vehicles
• Routine in handling circuit diagrams and PLC source code, experience with development according to the V-model
• ISTQB certification is desirable
• Independent working style, goal orientation, communication willingness, and team spirit
• Willingness to travel to customers
