We are currently looking for a talented Systems Architect to contribute to the U.S. Navy's Strategic Systems Program (SSP) by developing advanced systems architecture and modeling solutions for the Nuclear Sea Launched Cruise Missile (SLCM-N) program.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain intricate systems architecture models using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools to accurately represent system architecture.
• Define and manage the system hierarchy, ensuring comprehensive decomposition of the system, its interfaces, and relationships.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, testing, and production, to confirm the system architecture aligns with stakeholder needs and requirements.
• Conduct verification and validation of the system architecture against specified requirements through simulation and testing.
• Present the maturity of system architecture to stakeholders at critical milestones and during Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) Events.

With projects like the advanced Columbia-class submarine and the D5LE2 weapon system underway, we are set to continue this legacy for over 120 years.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Systems Engineering and SysML/UML modeling with experience in tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler.
• A self-starter who thrives with minimal supervision, displaying expertise in system modeling tools and the development of Use Cases and Activity Models.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Familiarity with Navy SSP Strategic Weapons Systems.
• INCOSE ASEP/CSEP Certification.
• OMG Certified SysML Modeling Professional (OCSMP) Certification.
• Extensive Systems Engineering experience throughout the SE Lifecycle.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with government representatives and internal teams.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $97,008 - $164,914. Please note that this range is based on our market pay structures and is determined by various factors, including business considerations, local market conditions, and candidate qualifications.
