About
You will be the Systems Engineer Manager - Training & Curriculum Development Team for the ADP Maintenance Training and Curriculum Development Team which is responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance training products, technical curriculum, and instructional solutions that support advanced aerospace and defense programs.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Systems Engineer Manager - Training & Curriculum Development Team you will be responsible for shaping the vision, strategy, and execution of training curriculum and instructional systems across multiple locations. You will lead a functional engineering team, partner with stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement of training effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and advancement of training curriculum, technical courseware, and simulation-based solutions.
- Oversee a geographically dispersed team in Marietta-GA, Palmdale-CA, and Fort Worth-TX, ensuring alignment with program priorities and customer needs.
- Drive workforce competency strategies, mentor personnel, and foster an agile, collaborative culture of technical excellence.
- Coordinate with Sustainment, Vehicle Systems, Mission Systems Engineering, suppliers, and customers to deliver integrated training products.
- Manage resource allocation, assign personnel to tasks, and adjust priorities to meet evolving business requirements.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent professional experience
- Experience developing, planning, delivering, or managing technical training programs or curriculum
- Experience leading teams, projects, or cross-functional efforts
- Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience working with technical systems, operations, maintenance, or aerospace/defense environments
Desired skills
- Formal leadership or personnel management experience
- Experience supporting military aircraft, aerospace, or defense-related programs
- Experience developing instructor-led, computer-based, simulation-based, or multimedia training solutions
- Knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and curriculum development methodologies
- Experience with Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), simulation environments, or advanced training technologies
- Strong communication, presentation, and customer engagement skills
- Ability to build collaborative relationships across engineering, operations, suppliers, and customer organizations
- Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills in dynamic environments
- Technical problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex systems into effective training solutions
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $147,700 - $255,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
