Cleared Systems Engineer / DevOps Specialist

We are seeking a cleared systems engineer or DevOps specialist with actively held government facility clearance (TS/SCI) to support ongoing deployment and maintenance of our platform at a client facility in Virginia. The role involves periodic on-site installations and upgrades on a monthly or quarterly basis over a 3–5 year period, operating under a part-time or hourly engagement model, with a guaranteed minimum monthly retainer.

Responsibilities

• System installation, upgrades, hardening, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Coordinating with government IT and security personnel to ensure compliance with applicable security, operational, and change-management requirements

Qualifications

• Actively held government facility clearance (TS/SCI)
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux systems
• Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL administration
• Strong hands-on experience with Docker-based deployments
• Strong hands-on experience supporting AI/ML workloads in secure or restricted environments

Location

Candidates located in Virginia / DC / Baltimore area are preferred; however, qualified candidates based on the U.S. East Coast who are comfortable traveling on-site as needed will also be considered.
