Systems Engineer (Procurement & Finance) - $200K

About

This is a senior-level hybrid role combining systems engineering, procurement, and financial operations. You’ll lead end-to-end purchasing processes, oversee financial transactions (including crypto), manage vendors and contracts, and drive operational efficiency. The role also involves evaluating technical solutions, supporting leadership with budgeting and strategy, and improving processes, reporting, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full procurement lifecycle (vendors, contracts, purchasing, renewals)
• Oversee financial operations, tracking, and compliance (cash + crypto)
• Monitor spending, identify cost savings, and improve processes
• Evaluate and recommend engineering/technology solutions (analysis of alternatives)
• Maintain SOPs, policies, and documentation for procurement and finance
• Collaborate with IT, operations, and leadership on strategy and budgeting
• Improve visibility through reporting, dashboards, and tracking systems

Required Background

• 10+ years in procurement/finance/vendor management
• 10+ years in systems engineering (solutions architecture or supply chain focus)
• Strong knowledge of financial controls, procurement processes, and compliance
• Experience with tools like Excel, SharePoint, and contract tracking systems
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills
• TS/SCI with Polygraph
