The Work
Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems has an opportunity in Liverpool, NY for a Systems Engineer Sr. Staff supporting the MK-48 Torpedo, Thin Lined Towed Array Handling System (TLTAHS) or NextGen SURTASS and Saildrone array USW programs. As a member on our Systems Engineering team, you can help us take on the world’s most important and complex challenges by working on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious. You will collaborate with a diverse team of technical professionals. The successful candidate will be flexible, motivated, dedicated, detail-focused, team-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking. The systems engineer in this role will be responsible for applying advanced technical principles, techniques, theories and concepts and contributing to the development of new principles and theories.
Who You Are
The Systems Engineer will need to be a self-starter and will be able to perform architecture definition, requirements decomposition, technical planning, integration, verification and validation, requirement sell-off, and customer interaction. Having a product line mindset and understanding interconnections between requirements, architecture, and analyses is critical.
