Systems Engineer / Technical Project Manager (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical projects, including protection systems and excitation systems
• Serve as single point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, and third parties, coordinating technical clarification meetings, FATs, and on-site commissioning
• Perform basic and detailed engineering of technical project documentation, including protection SLDs, trip matrices, cabinet layouts, electrical protection software, and schematics for protection, synchronization, and excitation systems according to project-specific requirements
• Conduct functional and customer acceptance tests, supervise installation, and manage on-site commissioning
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and norms
• Support sales and bid management by preparing technical concepts, project descriptions, schedules, and cost estimates
• Contribute to process improvements and initiatives to increase competitiveness

Your Profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with experience in electrical design (circuit diagrams, SLDs, short-circuit calculations)
• Knowledge of electrical protection technology, ideally generator protection
• Familiar with auxiliary power systems and hydro, thermal, industrial plants
• Basic understanding of excitation, drive, and converter systems
• Willing to travel internationally (up to 40%) and perform on-site commissioning
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
