At the Ulm site, we are looking for a Systems Engineer / DPM (w/m/d) for the "4D Projects Engineering" department as soon as possible.
The department develops radar systems, European studies (EDF), and sensor-based system solutions. The product portfolio includes, among others, the surface and land radars TRS-4D, TRML-4D, and COBRA. Our products are part of the "European Sky Shield" for air defense in Europe. Furthermore, the department supports program management in project control, offer preparation, and customer discussions.
Your Tasks
- Responsibility for development work packages regarding deadlines, costs, and quality including reporting
- Coordination of interdisciplinary development teams
- Responsibility for the application and implementation of the development process
- Close cooperation with the product department and technical disciplines
- Coordination of technical system requirements, system architecture, interface documents, system analyses, and system security with the product department
- Support in coordinating all system-related development activities in the area of System Safety
- Participation in the acquisition process through effort estimations and creation of offers
Your Profile
- Completed degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or comparable
- More than 10 years of professional experience in this field, ideally also with experience in Systems Engineering and technical project management
- Experience in the development of radar systems
- Technical leadership experience in managing teams
- Knowledge of safety standards such as MIL-STD-882, BAAINBw guidelines for demonstrating system safety
- Experience with Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA)
- Basic knowledge of EU product conformity
- Knowledge of DOORS, MATLAB, MBSE, CONFLUENCE, JIRA, and agile development environments
- Teamwork, assertiveness, resilience, and confident demeanor
- Fluent German and very good English skills
- Ü2 security screening desirable
