For associated customer equipment, installation, or infrastructure projects: responsible for project execution, result, and customer satisfaction by managing project-related activities and resources. Affects the team's ability to achieve service, quality, and timeliness of objectives. The role is subject to operational guideline objectives. Within the role, there is moderate autonomy. A high degree of operational judgment is required to achieve desired results.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Not turnkey projects or products/equipment only projects. Responsible for overseeing the project and directly or indirectly leading and/or managing project resources for small to medium-sized projects (size relative to GE business) that may include equipment, product suites, or not turnkey projects only.
- Requires expertise within the function. Influences strategy development for the area of responsibility, including the control of resources, and influences policy development.
- Evaluates simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
- Uses a high degree of judgment to make decisions and solve complex problems in operations, product management, manufacturing, technology, or construction. Has the ability to judge the quality of information provided and ask stakeholders relevant questions. Can offer new solutions to problems that are outside of established parameters and is able to create and deliver recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
- May lead function teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or moderate complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and can influence the opinions of others on specific subjects. Can guide others to take a different point of view.
Basic Qualifications
- This role requires extensive experience.
- Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $132,200.00 and $220,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
