Responsibilities

• You have not only profound knowledge in the technical aspects of quality assurance, but also the ability to strategically evaluate and optimize these in various environments.
• You are experienced in evaluating test frameworks and selecting the most suitable solutions for the team's needs without taking on the implementation yourself.
• Your expertise enables you to advise teams on performance optimization and strategically identify performance bottlenecks.
• You know how to adapt the appropriate test infrastructure (like Gitlab, Docker) to support and improve the development process.
• You know the importance of security and penetration tests and can advise development teams on this to increase the security level of our products.
• You are a good systems thinker. You understand complex systems holistically and make sensible architectural decisions.

Qualifications

• You have already successfully guided and supported developers to improve their skills in quality engineering.
• You have the ability to critically question situations and to justify your conclusions clearly and logically.
• You can not only convincingly present your vision of quality, but also inspire and motivate others to support this vision.
• You work effectively with other developers to identify synergies and achieve common goals in the area of quality.
• You understand how to present the importance of quality not only technically, but also in the context of business value.
• You are able to communicate with customers and convince them how essential quality engineering is for their software product.
• You can speak fluent German (native or very good) and English (at least C1).
