Requirement Overview

The purpose of this role is to contribute to a clear and effective recruitment processes through leveraging various tools. Furthermore, securing a positive candidate experience thereby supporting and promoting the employer brand and EVP of the organisation. This in return will secure top diverse talent to meet the company's staffing pipeline for future recruitment needs.

Roles & Responsibilities

Product Management

Talent Sourcing:

  • Implement the hiring plans for all vacancies allocated on manager level and lower levels.
  • Provide project management skills, enabling the business to have full confidence in your execution of their hiring plans.
  • Drive and implement talent acquisition plans in conjunction with the Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) and business partner.
  • Manage relations with business partners and hiring managers, to deliver workforce and talent acquisition plans.
  • Implement a broad talent acquisition strategy through social media, head-hunting, direct sourcing and employee referrals.
  • Be a valued and collaborative member of the team, contributing ideas, feedback and improvements.
  • Implement the interview methodology and evaluation processes for all types of roles.
  • Implement screening techniques for the purpose of shortlisting or attracting candidates.
  • Upholding an excellent candidate experience through effective response handling and timeous candidate feedback
  • Advice the client as subject matter expert on recruiting markets, competitive trends, compensation, and other relevant areas, and share your knowledge with the business leaders and human capital teams.
  • Sourcing of CV’s
  • Facilitate an e-recruitment system to shorten the recruitment process.
  • Establish and maintain recruitment agent’s database.

Recruitment policies and procedures:

  • Implement a recruitment plan for assigned portfolios.
  • Communicate the risks identify on the Recruitment Policy to the Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS)
  • Identify policy gaps in the recruitment process and communicate to the TAS.
  • Assist in the review of the recruitment policy and procedures.
  • Implement the policies relevant to recruitment thereby ensuring good governance.

Reporting and analytics

  • Manage the talent acquisition systems and provide people analytics to TAS.
  • Provide input in the reporting and tracking of recruitment activities.
  • Analyse system data, report and provide insights to ensure data-driven talent acquisition planning and decision making.
  • Ensure that data storage is secured and updated.

Administration:

  • Oversee the utilisation of the e-recruitment system and ensure effectiverunning of the e-recruitment system.
  • Report any e-recruitment system issues to the Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS)
  • Ensure proper documentation of each recruitment process as per the secure filing system in place.
  • Prepare and finalise salary offer.
  • Prepare and finalise the contract.

Stakeholder Engagements

  • Provide talent acquisition subject matter expertise and advisory to business and key stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain positive and value-adding relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate the recruitment strategy and objectives to both internal and external stakeholders to ensure understanding of these by all relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in managing outsourced processes with recruitment agencies.
  • Assist to compile, manage and execute the preferred supplier process for recruitment agencies in line with the approved internal SCM processes.
  • Ensure stakeholder satisfaction and successes through surveys including candidates.
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders in the people portfolio.

Financial management and operational management

  • Track project expenditure where outsource services were required.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance to supply chain processes.
  • Consult the Preferred Suppliers List for recruitment through the SCM agreements.
  • Monitoring the quality of services provided on an ongoing basis to ensure a high quality of delivery is maintained.
  • Effectively manage agency and Third Party spend across the organisation to ensure that agencies are only briefed on critical, scarce skills requirements.

Ad hoc

  • Perform other projects within HC as and when required by the People Portfolio

Skills, Experience & Education

Formal Education

  • This position requires a relevant Bachelors’ degree in HR management or behaviour sciences or similar field.

Experience

  • The incumbent is required to have 2-5 year’s talent sourcing experience in an agency and /or corporate financial services, preferably in the accounting and auditing profession.
  • Extensive experience in competitor analysis, talent mapping and head hunting
