The role We’re not looking for a recruiter in the traditional sense. We’re looking for someone who understands that the best hiring happens long before a job is open, through relationships, community, and trust built over time. Your job is to build and nurture a pipeline of future founding employees: the founding engineers and founding sales who are talented, intrapreneurial, and ready to bet on an early-stage project. People who want to experience what it’s like to build from scratch before launching their own thing. You’ll work closely with our portfolio founders to understand their needs, anticipate the right hiring moments, and activate the right people at the right time. You’ll report directly to Camille, our VP Talent & Ecosystem who just joined Hexa with one clear ambition: build the best recruiting team in the startup studio space. This is an early seat on that team, which means real impact, real ownership, and the freedom to find the best ways to hit your goals. What you’ll actually do - Design and own a proactive sourcing strategy: outreach campaigns, content, partnerships with communities, - Build a living, breathing community of aspiring early employees who want to stay connected to Hexa’s ecosystem, - Organize events (at our office and beyond) to attract, engage, and warm up the right profiles, - Develop and nurture relationships with top universities and grandes écoles to identify early talent, - Work directly with founders to define the profiles they need and move fast when the timing is right, - Help shape how we think about early-stage hiring: this is a 0-to-1 role with a lot of room to experiment.
