Talent Acquisition Professional

Jacobs

Tempe · flexible Full-time Mid Level $90k – $110k/yr Today

About the role

Your Impact

At Jacobs, we know that exceptional talent is the foundation of a more connected, resilient, and sustainable world. We are seeking a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Professional to join our Energy & Power recruiting team, with a dedicated focus on scaling our Energy & Power Utilities Design Engineering talent pipeline. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in delivering full‑cycle recruiting solutions for some of the most technically complex and business‑critical engineering positions across our global Energy & Power portfolio.

About the Role

As a Talent Acquisition Professional, you’ll partner closely with leaders across our Energy & Power Business Unit to drive the hiring of highly specialized technical professionals who support the modernization, resilience, and expansion of critical utility infrastructure. You’ll ensure an exceptional candidate experience while executing recruiting strategies for roles such as Electrical Engineers, Protection & Controls Engineers, Substation and Transmission Line Engineers, Civil & Structural Engineers, Distribution Designers, BIM/Design Technicians, and Project Management specialists. Your ability to identify, engage, and convert passive engineering talent across the utility sector will be essential to your success.

This role can be based in a Jacobs office, hybrid, or 100% remote, with minimal travel for key meetings as designated by the Sr. Talent Acquisition Manager.

Collaboration with business unit leaders and hiring managers is central to this position. Your responsibilities will span researching niche engineering roles, opening and managing requisitions, sourcing and cold‑calling passive candidates, conducting phone screens, coordinating interviews, negotiating and closing offers. You’ll maintain meticulous tracking of candidate activity and ensure timely communication throughout the process. You’ll build robust talent pipelines and project‑specific engineering rosters that accelerate future hiring.

You’ll also prepare and deliver recruiting reports to share with Talent Acquisition leadership and hiring manager teams. As a champion of Jacobs’ culture of inclusion, you’ll consistently promote “We live inclusion” and champion equal employment opportunity as a competitive advantage in your technical recruiting.
