POSITION OVERVIEW: TEMP
The Recruiter will be a dedicated resource on ActionLink's Talent Acquisition Team for the proactive generation of talent pools for a variety of field retail sales and merchandising representatives, as well as other professional positions (corporate, management, etc.) as needed.
The Recruiter will be responsible for high volume candidate generation through a variety of mediums including internet research beyond the traditional resume sites. The Recruiter will make initial contact with candidates to determine interest in and qualifications for a particular role and must effectively plan and prioritize tasks based upon workload, the quantity of candidates required for projects, and meeting client deadlines. It is imperative in this role to maintain exceptional working relationships with internal and external customers - hiring managers, candidates, ActionLink co-workers, and recruiting referral sources.
DUTIES:
- Drive a high volume talent pipeline by identifying, attracting and generating pools of quality candidates
- Manage online job posting and sourcing strategies, including research into new job boards and websites. Post open positions on job boards (e.g., Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Craigslist, etc.) and conduct searches of paid recruiting sites, resume databases, and social media networks
- Evaluate resume profiles of potential candidates and perform preliminary phone screen assessments and recorded interviews; screen all candidates for availability, interest level/motivation, company/program fit, salary range, basic qualifications, etc.
- Determine fit of applicants and make quality recommendations to hiring managers; job offer candidates when permitted
- Update candidate information and document all correspondence within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Track placement, turnover, time-to-fill, and other metrics to determine successful recruiting methods
- Assist with other HR or Talent Acquisition projects as requested by Recruiting Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior high volume recruiting experience in a retail setting, corporate environment, staffing agency, or 3rd party organization
- Demonstrated time management, prioritization, and detailed organizational skills to manage a high volume requisition workload
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills to maintain positive working relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Human Resources knowledge as it pertains to recruiting, sourcing, employment laws, and interviewing techniques a plus
- Ability to work remotely with access to reliable high-speed internet
- Prior ATS experience (e.g., Taleo, iCIMS) preferred
