We're hiring a Talent Acquisition Recruiter to serve as a trusted, consultative partner to hiring leaders across WakeMed. In this role, you'll go beyond filling requisitions—working closely with leaders to understand workforce needs, provide market insight, and develop thoughtful recruiting strategies that support both short‑ and long‑term talent goals across clinical, professional, technical, and support areas.
What you'll do
- Act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers by providing guidance on workforce planning, sourcing strategies, and market trends
- Lead full‑cycle recruiting efforts, from proactive sourcing and screening through offer development, negotiation, and onboarding
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with leaders and teams to influence hiring decisions and improve hiring outcomes
- Conduct site visits and job immersion to deeply understand the roles you recruit for and accurately represent WakeMed opportunities
- Serve as a knowledgeable ambassador for WakeMed, ensuring compliance with state and federal employment laws while modeling the Wake Way Behaviors

- Experienced in influencing stakeholders and guiding leaders through hiring decisions with data, insight, and best practices
- Skilled in advanced sourcing techniques, candidate assessment, and offer strategy
- Knowledgeable in employment laws and committed to ethical, compliant hiring
- A strong communicator who exemplifies Respect for People, Teamwork, Communication, and Commitment & Accountability

Licensure
- Professional in Human Resources or Certified Health Care Recruiter or SHRM Senior Certified Professional Preferred
Education
- Bachelor's Degree Business Administration or Related Field Required
Experience
- 3 Years Human Resources Required
- Human Resources - Recruitment Preferred
