What You’ll Do

Core Responsibility What Success Looks Like
Partner with hiring managers Translate business needs into compelling job descriptions and hiring plans.
Full‑cycle recruiting Source, screen, interview, and present top talent for technical, engineering, and facilities roles across the U.S.
Talent pipeline development Build and nurture a diverse candidate pool via job boards, LinkedIn, industry events, referrals, and academic partnerships.
Candidate experience champion Keep candidates informed, engaged, and excited from application through offer.
Metrics & reporting Track time‑to‑fill, source‑of‑hire, diversity metrics, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
Onboarding collaboration Work with HR and hiring managers to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly and quickly become productive.
Compliance & best practices Stay current on employment law, E‑Verify, and industry recruiting trends.

Who You Are

Required Preferred
3‑5 years full‑cycle recruiting experience (corporate or agency) Direct sourcing experience in construction, micro‑grids, e‑Mobility, electrical, engineering, or facilities‑management fields
Proven track record filling professional‑level technical roles Established network with trade schools, engineering programs, and industry associations
Strong communication, relationship‑building, and negotiation skills Experience with high‑volume hiring or large‑scale talent‑brand initiatives
Proficiency in ATS (e.g., iCIMS, Taleo, Greenhouse) and recruitment tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search) Knowledge of DEI recruiting strategies
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field or equivalent experience Certifications such as SHRM‑CP, PHR, or LinkedIn Recruiter Certification
Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously Familiarity with ABM’s service lines and technical terminology

Requirements

  • Proven experience recruiting for professional positions, preferably in technical (i.e
  • construction, microgrids, eMobility, electrical, engineering), facilities management or building/facilities engineering fields
  • Full cycle recruiting experience (corporate or agency), demonstrating successful direct sourcing techniques and effective relationship management skills
  • Knowledgeable in full life cycle recruiting components, including sourcing, qualifying, networking, and assessing candidate skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in applicant tracking systems and recruitment software

Responsibilities

  • You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, and manage the full recruitment life cycle
  • This role will play a crucial part in ensuring our organization is staffed with the right individuals who can contribute to our success
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing requirements and develop job descriptions
  • Source, interview, and assess potential candidates to determine their qualifications and suitability for open positions
  • Build a network of qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, industry events, and referrals
  • Develop and maintain relationships with educational institutions and trade organizations to tap into emerging talent
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to recruitment
  • Manage recruitment databases and track key performance metrics
  • Provide a positive candidate experience, ensuring candidates are well-informed and engaged throughout the hiring process
  • Work with hiring managers to facilitate the interview process, including scheduling, debriefs, and offer negotiations
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates and provide feedback, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process
  • Assist in developing and implementing onboarding and orientation programs to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the organization
  • Partner and collaborate with Human Resources, Total Rewards/Compensation, TA Leadership, Hiring Managers, and other internal business partners
