As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will have a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in recruiting to help our team attract top talent for a wide variety of corporate and manufacturing roles in Canada and the United States. This role is hybrid, 3 days in the office and 2 days from home and is an 18-month contract (in Montreal (Saint-Laurent).

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage and execute the end-to-end recruitment process across various business units in Canada and the United States.
  • Strategic Partnership: Act as a talent advisor to Hiring Managers and the HR team. Lead intake meetings to deeply understand job requirements, team dynamics, and local market challenges.
  • Sourcing & Attraction: Proactively build candidate pipelines using innovative sourcing methods, social media (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter), targeted partnerships, and TA events.
  • Evaluation & Selection: Revise role profiles, conduct thorough behavioral and technical screenings, and guide managers through the interview process. Prepare and lead post-interview debriefs to ensure objective hiring decisions.
  • Offer Management: Oversee the final stages of the hiring process, including pre-employment checks, offer formulation, negotiation, and ensuring a seamless hand-off for onboarding.
  • Candidate Experience & Employer Brand: Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring a positive, inclusive, and professional candidate experience at every touchpoint of the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Maintain accurate data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Generate TA scorecards and progress reports to track KPIs (e.g., time-to-fill) and present updates to HR and business leaders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify bottlenecks, share market intelligence, and recommend improvements to the Talent Acquisition process to ensure best-in-class delivery.

Key Qualifications

  • Three (3) or more years of talent acquisition experience, including significant experience in a corporate recruiting environment (Note: Agency experience is a plus, but not required)
  • Recruiting experience with Manufacturing, IT and Finance roles
  • Written and verbal fluency in French and English
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems as well as sourcing via LinkedIn Recruiter
