Our client is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to drive end-to-end hiring across both field and corporate functions within a property management environment. This role supports high-volume recruitment needs, partnering closely with operational leaders to anticipate staffing demands and ensure timely placement of qualified candidates. The position requires a hands-on approach, with a strong emphasis on proactive sourcing, process ownership, and delivering a smooth candidate-to-employee transition.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from role intake through onboarding, across multiple departments and locations
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, timelines, and candidate profiles prior to launching searches
- Actively source talent through a variety of channels including professional networks, job boards, referrals, and community outreach
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines for frequently hired and high-turnover roles
- Evaluate candidates through resume review and initial screenings; coordinate and facilitate interview processes
- Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and timely updates throughout the hiring process
- Track and report on key recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline activity, and offer outcomes
- Ensure accuracy and compliance within the applicant tracking system and hiring documentation
- Prepare and extend offer letters in accordance with internal guidelines
- Oversee pre-employment processes, including background checks and required screenings
- Coordinate onboarding logistics to ensure new hires are prepared for their first day
- Contribute to improvements in recruiting workflows, job documentation, and employer branding efforts
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience, ideally within high-volume or operationally driven environments (e.g., property management, hospitality, retail)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously with minimal oversight
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain momentum across competing priorities
- Experience partnering directly with business leaders on hiring strategy and execution
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in Spanish (required)
- Ability to work onsite in Chicago
