About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist who will play a pivotal role in shaping our recruitment and retention strategies to align with our CEO's vision. You will work closely with the CEO and leadership teams to ensure our staffing needs are met with top talent, placing the right individuals in the right roles.

In this position, you will focus on hiring, training, and motivating our Restaurant Managers, Shift Managers, and team members. Your efforts will directly impact our level of service and operational success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct engaging New Hire Orientation sessions.
  • Ensure new employees understand company policies and procedures.
  • Enter new employee data into our systems accurately.
  • Mentor team members and exemplify best practices.
  • Coordinate with managers to support effective onboarding and training for new hires.
  • Maintain an e-learning tracking system for all units.

Management and Training

  • Develop outreach strategies to diversify and expand recruitment sources.
  • Collaborate with the CEO/Director of Operations to proactively identify staffing needs.
  • Oversee the interview and selection processes, including screening calls and conducting both in-person and virtual interviews.
  • Assess candidates' technical competencies and job compatibility.
  • Work with Human Resources to complete pre-employment checks and extend offer packages.
  • Build relationships with educational institutions and diversity organizations.
  • Lead high-volume recruitment for both management and non-management positions.
  • Provide hands-on training and coaching in both in-person and remote formats.
  • Participate in special projects aimed at enhancing training materials and recruitment processes.

Requirements

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • Self-driven with a strong leadership potential in HR initiatives.
