About the role

About

A global luxury design group with a portfolio of iconic European furniture and lifestyle brands is expanding its U.S. team and strengthening its talent function. With five established retail and showroom locations across New York, Washington D.C., and Miami, the company is entering its next phase of growth — building high‑performing sales teams that can engage the architecture and design community at the highest level.

This organization is known for its heritage, craftsmanship, and deep influence within the international design world. Its U.S. presence is expanding rapidly, and the next critical hire is a Talent Acquisition Partner who understands how to recruit within the design ecosystem — from showroom talent to A&D‑focused professionals who regularly engage with iconic architecture and design studios responsible for some of the world’s most influential commercial, cultural, and hospitality spaces, the top‑tier A&D firms that shape the built environment and drive design‑driven client relationships.

This is a rare opportunity to help shape the talent foundation for some of the most respected brands in contemporary furniture and luxury interiors.

What You’ll Do

  • Own full‑cycle recruiting for ~16 critical revenue‑driving roles across retail, showroom, and A&D sales to start
  • Build and maintain a strong bench of design‑connected talent — sales reps, showroom associates, residential designers, and more
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies that tap into the design community, including architects, interior designers, specifiers, showroom talent, and industry referrals
  • Create buzz and employer‑of‑choice visibility within the design ecosystem
  • Partner directly with senior leadership on hiring priorities and workforce planning
  • Build recruiting processes, interview frameworks, and candidate experience standards
  • Maintain ATS/CRM discipline and deliver weekly hiring updates
  • Support early HR infrastructure as the U.S. organization scales

What You Bring

  • 2–5 years of recruiting experience (in‑house or agency)
  • Experience hiring for design, luxury retail, creative, or architecture‑adjacent roles
  • Strong sourcing skills and a proactive, hunter‑style approach
  • Comfort working directly with senior leadership in a fast‑moving environment
  • Excellent communication, organization, and follow‑through
  • A genuine passion for design, aesthetics, and the creative community

Why This Role Matters

You will be the engine behind the next wave of hires that define the company’s U.S. presence. These roles are the brand ambassadors, the revenue drivers, and the foundation of a high‑growth strategy. Your work will directly influence the success of the business.

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • Direct partnership with executive leadership
  • Exposure to globally recognized design brands
  • Opportunity to build talent infrastructure from the ground up
  • High visibility, meaningful impact, and room to grow
