About Us
Our Shopify agency is growing faster than our team. We need someone to own the Upwork hiring pipeline end-to-end — posting jobs, screening applicants (Looms + portfolios), coordinating paid trials, and delivering ranked shortlists — without needing to be managed through every step.
We are also looking for people outside of Upwork, so ideally someone that can come in with a talent pipeline that has access to different groups in different countries for the roles stated below.
Every role you'll work comes with a complete brief. Your job is to execute against it, filter signal from noise, and hand us a shortlist we can act on.
What you'll own
- Post and manage job listings on Upwork for each open role
- Screen applicants: review portfolios, Loom walkthroughs, and async submissions
- Score and rank candidates with written reasoning per applicant
- Coordinate paid trial assignments and track completion
- Maintain a clean pipeline so we always know where each candidate stands
Open roles you'll hire for
- Developer retainer — $1,000–$1,500/mo
- Junior Designer — $600–$1,000/mo
- Klaviyo Specialist — $500–$800/mo
- Email Designer — $50–$100/design
What we're looking for
- Experience managing end-to-end hires on Upwork (sourcing through offer)
- Strong written communication — your shortlist notes need to be actionable, not vague
- Self-directed: you move the pipeline without being chased
Familiarity with creative or Shopify/ecom agency roles is a plus
Compensation
Open to discussion. Retainer + performance based on 6-8 hires per month
