Tax Accountant (Corporate Tax)

Job Overview

Atlantic Group is hiring a Tax Manager (Corporate Tax) in New Castle County, DE for our client, supporting income tax accounting, compliance, and tax planning within a large multinational environment. This role focuses on either U.S. income tax compliance or global income tax accounting, depending on experience, while partnering closely with finance, legal, and treasury teams. Responsibilities

• Tax Compliance: Prepare and review U.S. federal and international tax filings including corporate returns and related schedules.
• Tax Accounting: Support quarterly and annual income tax provision processes including deferred taxes and effective tax rate analysis.
• Financial Reporting: Assist with tax disclosures and reporting requirements in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Tax Planning: Support strategic tax planning initiatives and provide guidance on business transactions.
• Technical Analysis: Conduct tax research and interpret regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities.
• Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits and respond to tax authority inquiries as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required, CPA and advanced tax degree are preferred.
• Experience: 6+ years of tax experience within public accounting and/or a corporate environment is required.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong background in U.S. tax compliance, international tax, or income tax accounting is required.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with tax software and financial reporting tools is required.
• Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities are required.
