The Tax Advisor is a key part of our team – you will be a part of tax preparation, compliance, and advising clients on tax planning. Platform Accounting Group is a rapidly growing professional services firm providing tax, accounting, assurance, IT consulting, and wealth management services to small and medium sized businesses and their owners. Responsibilities
- Prepare individual and business (c-corps, s-corps, partnerships) tax returns. Develop your skills and knowledge to increase complexity and types of returns completed
- Build, maintain and enhance client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of each client’s business and finances
- Provide or assist with accounting services including bookkeeping, payroll, sales tax, etc.
- Identify, research, and resolve tax issues
Qualifications
- 0-3 year of experience preparing a variety of tax returns
- Understanding of practices, theories, and policies related to taxes and accounting
- Bachelor's Degree Required, Master's Degree Preferred
- EA or CPA desired (or actively working towards licensure)

The expected salary range for this role is $55,000 - $85,000 per year, which represents a good faith and reasonable estimate. Compensation decisions depend on numerous factors including bona fide qualifications and the facts and circumstances of each case at the time of hiring. Relevant qualifications include, but are not limited to employee education, training, skillset, credentials/certifications, relevant work experience, geographic work location (including if the employee will be hybrid or fully in-office), the scope and responsibilities of the role, internal level and peer equity, and market considerations.
