Role Overview

• Tax Partner to support the firm’s various transactional practices.
• Work will focus on tax considerations relevant to structuring M&A, private equity and project finance deals.
• The firm has a significant flow of work for the tax practice and expects the incoming lawyer to also bring their own standalone work.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax advice on M&A, private equity and project finance transactions.
• Advise on real estate taxation matters.
• Handle tax controversy issues.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the firm’s tax practice.
• Collaborate with other practice areas (Corporate, Finance, etc.) to deliver integrated solutions.

Requirements / Candidate Profile

• Corporate tax lawyer with expertise in tax considerations for M&A, private equity and project finance deals.
• Additional experience in real estate taxation and tax controversy is welcome.
• Ability to generate and manage own standalone tax work.
• Versatile, entrepreneurial mindset suited to a boutique, multidisciplinary environment.
