Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Taxation Manager located in the Durban Metropolitan Area. The Taxation Manager will oversee tax planning, compliance, and preparation activities while ensuring adherence to applicable tax laws. Responsibilities include analyzing complex tax issues, providing strategic advice, managing deadlines, and collaborating with team members to optimize tax strategies for clients. The candidate will also ensure timely and accurate reporting for all tax-related filings.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Tax Planning and Tax Strategy development
• Thorough knowledge of Tax Compliance and familiarity with regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in Tax Preparation and preparing accurate tax returns for various client types
• In-depth understanding of Tax Law and staying updated on legal changes affecting taxation
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA qualification is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively
• Proficiency with tax and accounting software tools
