Responsibilities

• You will lead our engineering teams across multiple locations and also manage external developers and offshore resources
• You will define the target architecture of our systems and continuously develop it (microservices, REST/GraphQL APIs, Kubernetes, cloud platforms)
• You will bring modern development standards to the company - from CI/CD pipelines and automated tests to DevSecOps
• You will ensure that our software is robust, scalable, and secure, and complies with common standards such as OWASP or ISO 27001
• You will make technology decisions and be responsible for the stack around .NET, frontend frameworks, container platforms, and cloud services
• You will get into the code yourself for critical topics, conduct reviews, and solve complex technical problems
• You will actively drive the use of AI in engineering (e.g., code assistants, test automation, intelligent analysis tools)
• You will coordinate releases, manage technical dependencies, and work closely with platform, security, and infrastructure teams

Qualifications

• You have a strong technical background and many years of experience in software development and architecture
• You have already led teams and are familiar with the challenges of distributed development organizations
• You are familiar with modern technologies such as .NET, React/TypeScript, APIs, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms
• You have experience with CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code
• You are familiar with security topics and secure development processes
• You have interest or experience in using AI in software engineering
• You make well-founded technical decisions and implement them consistently
• You communicate confidently in German and English
