Technical Accountant

About the Role

As an experienced Accountant, your role will involve providing accounting guidance and support on various complex transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, IPOs, and divestitures. You will be responsible for researching, interpreting, and advising clients on accounting standards such as IFRS, US GAAP, and Ind AS. Your expertise will be crucial in assisting clients in implementing new requirements effectively. Moreover, you will be tasked with preparing clear and well-structured technical accounting memos and reports, as well as drafting and updating accounting policies and procedures for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accounting guidance and support on mergers, acquisitions, IPOs, divestitures, and other complex transactions.
• Research, interpret, and advise clients on accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP, Ind AS) and assist in implementing new requirements.
• Prepare clear and well-structured technical accounting memos and reports.
• Draft and update accounting policies and procedures for clients.
• Support financial reporting, consolidation, and financial close activities.
• Benchmark client data and processes against industry standards to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure timely, high-quality deliverables while managing client expectations.
• Collaborate closely with Managers and Senior Managers, providing regular updates on project progress.
