Technology Alignment Manager (TAM)

TAG Solutions

On-site Full-time Senior $83k – $104k/yr Yesterday

About the role

Essence

The Technical Alignment Manager (TAM) is a senior member of the Operations Team who bridges technical assessment and pre-sales, ensuring that what gets sold is grounded in what has been properly evaluated, designed, and scoped. The TAM is responsible for conducting regular onsite assessments of customer environments to identify misalignment and technical risk, and for equipping the Virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO) with the technical findings, risk data, and environmental insights needed to develop effective IT strategies and roadmaps for customers. The TAM also owns Pre-Sales and Design Desk responsibilities, including solution design, vendor quoting, technical scoping, and Scope of Work creation. In this capacity, the TAM serves as the technical checkpoint between assessment and sale, ensuring proposed solutions are properly designed, validated, and scoped. Assessment findings directly inform client recommendations and project pipeline, making this a role that requires equal comfort in a customer's server room and a pre-sales conversation.
