Since our creation in 2015, TechFirm is more than just a company. We are about a hundred free spirits, spread between Geneva, Zurich and Marseille, working together to revolutionize the information systems of our banking, luxury, and state clients. 🚀

Mission / Responsibilities

As part of strategic projects in a banking environment, you will act as a Technical Architect with a strong DevOps dimension.

Architecture & Vision

• Define and champion the technical vision of the product
• Be responsible for architectural choices at the component and application level
• Design modern architectures (microservices, event-driven, CQRS…)
• Establish development standards and best practices

Collaboration & Support

• Provide level 3 support in collaboration with DevOps teams
• Work closely with international development teams
• Support the Solution Architect in their missions
• Advise the Product Owner on technical decisions

Engineering & Design

• Clean Code (TDD, SOLID, KISS)
• Design Patterns (GOF)
• Domain Driven Design (DDD)
• Modeling (UML, ERM, BPMN, C4)

Architectures

• Hexagonal / Layered
• Microservices / Modular
• Event-driven, CQRS
• Data architectures (Data Hub, Lambda/Kappa)
• Orchestration / Choreography

Data & Storage

• RDBMS, Key-Value, Object Store
• Search Engine, Document DB

AI

• Use of tools like Claude Code or equivalent

Business Knowledge (appreciated)

• Asset Management
• Trading / Transactions
• Rebalancing

Education

• EPFL or equivalent

Languages

• French: fluent / native
• English: advanced
