About

Akkodis is recruiting for a Technical Author for a heavy duty vehicle manufacturer in the Erie, PA or Justin, TX location. This is an onsite contract position with a pay range of $35 an hour to $42 an hour depending on education, experience and location.

Position requires a technical aptitude, perferably in locomotive, off highway vehicle or automotive industry.

Requirements

• Experience authoring repair manuals or operation guides.
• Comprehend engineering drawings, CAD drawings, Wiring Diagrams and Harness Prints.
• Experience on Framework, and willing to train.
• 2 to 5 years Technical authoring experience.
• Associate degree in related field, or HS with relevant experience.
