Here at we are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join our team in an international insurance project.
Location
Barcelona or Madrid, hybrid (1day in the office). Open to remote from any part of Spain.
Responsibilities
- Develop use case, and option-impact assessment to determine and recommend the best solution to adopt across our core insurance, workflow, data and automation platforms.
- Contribute to the design of systems, preparing use cases, functional / interface specifications, and other design artefacts including process maps.
- Perform analysis across both systems and business processes to establish a good and aligned understanding the root cause of any open issues / underlying requirement.
- Responsible for understanding the regulatory obligations that the project impacts
- Elicit and document clear business requirements, ensuring the needs of both internal and external parties are reconciled.
- Work alongside third-party providers to ensure the scoped solution fully meets the business need and achieve the envisaged benefits.
- Provide support for testing, implementation, and training activities to ensure the seamless delivery of change.
- Responsible for active risk management throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- Responsible for impact assessing CRs where required.
- Responsible for supporting the testing phases.
- Responsible for supporting the project manager with developing the project plan.
- Prioritise reports for migration based on business value and usage.
Qualifications
- Advanced level of English.
- 2 – 5 years of hands-on experience in the delivery of Business Analysis artefacts (eg as-is analysis, use case, process design, functional specification, UAT, etc.) on business and IT change projects, preferably in the Financial Services sector (e.G. Insurance).
- Intermediate working knowledge of SQL is a must, as well as the use of data analytics.
- Understanding of Azure.
- Experience working in Actuaries and understanding of ITIL principles will be valued.
