What awaits you

You gather, analyze, and prioritize complex requirements in the financial environment and translate them into clear, technically usable specifications. You ensure that requirements are consistently incorporated into API designs, data models, system logic, and architectural concepts. With your deep understanding of banking processes, payment transactions, regulatory requirements, risk & compliance requirements, and modern financial architectures, you support product and IT teams in designing stable, auditable, and scalable system solutions – e.g., for core banking systems, online banking platforms, or DWH processes.

You identify technical and business obstacles early on – such as missing interface logic, unclear data flows, inconsistent mapping rules, conflicting business logic, or problems in event-driven architectures – and resolve them sustainably to ensure smooth end-to-end process chains.

In close collaboration with developers, architects, test automation, DWH teams, and operational FS units, you work on robust technical solutions: API specifications, integration designs, validation logic, interface definitions, technical user stories, UAT scenarios, and productive implementation of new system components.

You work confidently with interface architectures (REST, SOAP, Messaging/Kafka), understand complex banking data models, event chains (Event Driven Banking), integration patterns (Batch, Real-time, Streaming), CI/CD requirements, as well as security and logging mechanisms.

You identify technical dependencies, risks, and impacts on upstream and downstream systems early on.

Whether it's regulations (e.g., MiFID, PSD2, BAIT), IT security requirements, integration complexity, data quality, system stability, or scalability – you ensure that all solutions in the financial services context are implemented in a technically robust, auditable, transparent, and long-term maintainable manner.

What we expect from you

Personal Background:

• You have a degree in (business) informatics, economics, or a comparable qualification – what matters most is a solid technical understanding of banking processes, data flows, system logic, and integration architectures in the financial environment.

Business Analysis Expertise:

• You have experience in gathering, analyzing, and structuring business requirements – ideally in core banking, payment transactions, risk, compliance, or financial platform projects where technical and business logic are closely intertwined.

Industry Experience:

• You are familiar with regulated financial environments and understand how compliance, security, audit, and stability requirements influence technical architecture, data management, interfaces, and process chains.

Technical Understanding:

• You are familiar with API and interface designs (REST, SOAP, Messaging), data models, testing, DWH structures, and tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps – and can confidently assess technical dependencies, risks, and system impacts.

Passion:

• You are passionate about clean requirements work, robust end-to-end processes, clear technical specifications, and the further development of modern banking and FS system landscapes.

Mindset:

• Analytical, structured, quality-conscious – you can clearly explain complex business and technical contexts, prepare decisions, and drive solutions forward with focus.

On the road:

• You are willing to travel and flexible to advise our clients on-site nationwide.
