Job Title: Technical Business Analyst - Remote Duration (Contract): 2 15 Months Client Location: Harrisburg, PA Location Preference: Remote Job Description: As a Technical Business Analyst, you will support the planning, requirements gathering, and solution delivery phases of large scale enterprise initiatives. You will work closely with business leaders and technical teams to analyze current processes, define future state solutions, and translate complex business needs into actionable requirements. The role focuses heavily on financial operations, transaction processing, reporting, payments, billing, reconciliation, and customer relationship management systems, while ensuring solutions align with organizational standards and delivery guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Perform business analysis activities during project planning and requirements elicitation phases. Facilitate meetings with business leaders to document current state processes, workflows, and requirements. Analyze and compare existing business processes against industry best practices to identify improvement opportunities. Proactively recommend new processes and solution approaches to support program objectives. Translate business requirements into service blueprints, business process flow diagrams, features, and user stories. Support development of technical specifications in collaboration with solution and development teams. Enter, manage, and track requirements, features, and documentation using application lifecycle management tools. Visually model business processes and system interactions gathered during elicitation sessions. Conduct feasibility studies and analyze existing systems to identify gaps and improvement opportunities. Define and document KPIs including business rules, ownership, data sources, and visualization approaches. Collaborate with development teams to ensure accurate and successful solution implementation. Develop and execute test scenarios, scripts, and plans to validate solutions against business requirements. Support training activities and assist end users and stakeholders during solution rollout. Create and maintain comprehensive project and requirements documentation. Lead and participate in enterprise system project activities. Work independently to complete assigned tasks while adhering to established standards, policies, and procedures. Utilize appropriate software tools and technologies to perform business analysis duties effectively. Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst in a technology driven environment. Demonstrated experience working on enterprise systems related to financial processing, reporting, billing, payments, reconciliation, or customer management. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. Experience translating business requirements into user stories, process flows, and functional documentation. Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Excel, or equivalent tools. Proficiency with collaboration and documentation tools within an enterprise environment. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with technical and non technical stakeholders. Experience working with enterprise financial systems, CRM platforms, ERP systems, or data migration initiatives is preferred. Familiarity with enterprise service management or IT service management practices is beneficial. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
