Why AESKON?

Every year, emergency services in Germany respond over 10 million times. After every mission, mandatory documentation awaits – protocols, diagnoses, vital signs, ICD-10 codes. This costs an average of 30% of the shift time, often hours after the actual mission, often from memory.

AESKONDocsAi changes that. We are developing an iPad-native platform that supports emergency responders with live speech transcription and AI-powered field extraction for mission documentation – in real-time, fully GDPR-compliant according to Art. 9, with German servers, and offline-capable. At the end of the mission, the report is ready. Not at midnight at home.

Who we are looking for

Someone who understands that good software in emergency medical services doesn't get a second chance. Who builds cleanly, thinks securely, and enjoys bringing a product from prototype to real pilot software – with everything that entails.

You don't need a medical/technical background, but you should be willing to understand the workflow: what is important during an emergency mission, why the order of fields matters, and why offline stability is not an optional feature here. In return, I will try to understand what you do professionally ;)

What specifically needs to be built

The technical foundation is on paper – as a specification, Figma prototype, and feature spec. Your task is the implementation:

Primarily MVP / Pilot phase • Currently, the patent application is pending, so I would like to share more details with you personally :)

What we offer you

This depends on how you want to get started:

Option A – Freelance Engagement • Hourly rate within the market standard, financed from the seed budget • Clear specification, agreed milestones, short feedback loops • No meeting overhead – you build, we talk about results

Option B – Technical Co-Founder / CTO with Equity:

• ~ :) % company shares (vesting over 48 months, 12 months cliff) • Initially reduced salary, which grows with funding • Co-responsibility for product, architecture, and – as we grow – technical hiring • You will not be a service provider, but a co-founder • I will see you more often than my partner, so it should harmonize naturally on a personal level

Both options are meant honestly. We will find out what fits better in the conversation.

What you should bring

Must-have:

• 5+ years of experience in Mobile-/Fullstack development (PWA, iOS or React Native)
• Confident handling of modern AI APIs (Whisper, OpenAI, LLM integration)
• Experience with data protection and security-critical applications (GDPR, encryption)
• Startup mindset: you work independently, prioritize pragmatically, ask for help in time

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in healthcare, emergency services, or similarly regulated areas
• Knowledge of MDR (Software as a Medical Device) or SaaS compliance
• Experience with offline sync architectures (IndexedDB, Service Worker, local database)
