Technical Copywriter for Fashion/Textile Science

About the Project

Casa Branda is an independent fashion intelligence platform. One of our tools, How It Wears, analyses a garment's fibre composition and returns aging forecasts, care guidance, repair advice, pilling behaviour, and environmental impact. The output is partly hardcoded (per fibre, per section) and partly AI-generated based on the user's specific composition.

We work with a textile technologist (PhD-level) who drafts the hardcoded copy for each fibre. Her drafts are technically precise but written quickly in note form, with abbreviations, typos, and trade vocabulary that needs translating for a consumer-facing tool. Your role is to take her raw drafts and turn them into polished, consumer-readable copy that preserves every technical detail she has specified.

This is not a creative writing role. The technical content is fixed. Your job is editorial: clarity, register, consistency, and translation of trade language.

Initial Scope

One fibre profile (Recycled Polyester) as a paid test piece. Successful work continues at a fortnightly cadence as new fibre profiles are added.
