Technical Director (Civil)

About the Role

We are looking for a visionary Technical Director to lead technical strategy, strengthen engineering capability, and guide high-level project execution. This is a senior leadership role suited to a seasoned expert in civil engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical excellence across the civil engineering discipline.
• Provide strategic direction for design standards and innovation.
• Mentor senior engineers and oversee professional development.
• Engage in business development proposals and client partnerships.
• Oversee complex technical reviews and risk assessments.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years in engineering with at least 3 years in management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisation skills.
• Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
• BEng/MEng Civil Engineering.
• ECSA Pr Eng required.
• Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
