Technical Editor / Writer (Mechanical / HVAC / Cooling Towers)

About Us

We are a Singapore-based engineering company developing our first industry-facing book on cooling towers.

The content is already developed internally. We are now looking for an experienced technical editor/writer to refine, elevate, and strengthen the credibility of the manuscript.

Your Role

Your role is to transform our existing material into a clear, authoritative, and compelling publication that resonates with:

• M&E consultants
• Design engineers
• Asset owners and decision-makers

This book will be used as a strategic tool to build trust and influence specification decisions—so the tone must be technically sound, professional, and convincing.

Scope of Work

• Review and refine existing manuscript (no need to write from scratch)
• Improve:
  • Grammar, sentence structure, and clarity
  • Technical accuracy and terminology
  • Flow and logical structure
• Elevate the writing to:
  • Sound more credible and authoritative
  • Be compelling and engaging, not just technical
• Ensure content is:
  • Easy to understand for non-experts
  • Still technically accurate for engineers
• Strengthen key sections to:
  • Build trust
  • Highlight value and differentiation
• Collaborate with our team for clarifications when needed

Ideal Candidate

• Background in Mechanical Engineering / HVAC / Thermal Systems
• Strong experience in technical editing or engineering writing
• Familiarity with:
  • Cooling towers (highly preferred)
  • HVAC or industrial systems
• Excellent command of professional English writing
• Ability to:
  • Turn technical content into clear, structured, and persuasive material
  • Balance technical depth with readability
