What you will do
- Take full lifecycle ownership of strategically important IT projects covering business applications, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and process owners to analyze business needs and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
- Apply your expertise in application architecture, IT infrastructure, cloud/on-prem environments, IAM, networking, and system integrations (e.g., APIs, middleware).
- Develop and execute project plans, managing milestones, resources, dependencies, risks, and changes.
- Combine leadership with hands-on technical problem-solving, test coordination, and solution validation.
- Coordinate and motivate cross-functional teams in an agile, dynamic environment.
- Ensure quality, security, and compliance requirements are embedded throughout all project phases.
- Provide clear and proactive communication to stakeholders, management, and governance boards.
What you bring & who you are
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience leading IT projects in business applications, systems integration, or enterprise infrastructure.
- Proven skills in requirements engineering and translating business processes into technical solutions.
- Deep technical expertise in at least three of the following: application management, IT infrastructure, IAM, networking, or integration (APIs, middleware, ETL).
- Familiarity with technologies such as SaaS applications, Azure, EntraID, SSO, REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and monitoring solutions.
- Experience with modern project management methods (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project).
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) is preferred.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Strong hands-on mentality, excellent communication skills, and a structured, proactive mindset.
