We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Key Account Manager to join our fast growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise and sales acumen, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships within the FinTech sector. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key client accounts, and serving as the primary technical liaison between our company and our customers. A Technical Key Account Manager is a tech-savvy professional who builds client relationships, drives business growth, and ensures customer satisfaction by providing technical support before and after sales. They act as a bridge between a company's technical solutions and its clients, translating complex concepts and technical jargon into clear, actionable insights.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional technical support before and after sales, evaluating customer needs to suggest upgrades or additional features and training clients on product usage.
  • Address and troubleshoot product-related queries and technical issues in a timely and effective manner, coordinating with internal product and engineering teams as needed to solve problems.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize client engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations, to expand the company’s market presence and achieve sales targets.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and C-level executives within financial institutions and related industries.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on our product offerings, including digital technologies such as AI/ML, blockchain, and APIs.
  • Articulate the value proposition of our solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Track account metrics, report on sales performance, and provide customer feedback to developers and senior management.
  • And any other reasonable request made by the Line Manager, SLT or ELT.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in technical sales, account management, or solutions engineering within the technology or FinTech sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and manage complex accounts.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, services, and industry regulations.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and experience with APIs and software integration methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of the FinTech ecosystem, including players, business models, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to navigate APIs and guide clients through the integration process.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based solutions is important, as FinTech increasingly relies on agile, scalable cloud infrastructure.
  • While not a developer role, technical account managers should be able to speak the language of developers and understand technical specifications.
  • The ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, valuable insights for both technical and non-technical clients is critical.
  • Strong analytical, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and critical thinking skills required to address client issues and propose solutions effectively.
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively across teams, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
