Technical Leader

JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is seeking a Technical Leader to join a global leader in the design and development of high‑performance CMOS and CCD image sensors, focal plane arrays, and cameras for Airborne and Space applications. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical success of one or more projects, ensuring final products meet customer specifications while identifying and mitigating technical risk. Partnering closely with the Project Manager, you will provide hands-on technical leadership to a cross-functional team of sensor, electronics, mechanical, process, and test specialists, while collaborating with internal groups such as manufacturing, purchasing, and CMOS development. This position emphasizes strong technical fundamentals, effective communication, and the ability to contribute as both a team player and an independent technical contributor.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 2-3+ years of experience in Physics/Nanotechnology/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Solid experience in design/product development
• Strong, proven experience leading/managing a technical project and driving technology development
• Excellent communication skills and experience working in a customer facing role
• Bachelors or postgraduate degree in engineering or equivalent

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in Defense, Aerospace, Semiconductor, Optics, Image Sensors, Nanotechnology or equivalent
• Physics education background
