For our ICM Operations Technology team in Business Unit 4 for Investment Goods Fairs and Consumer Goods Fairs as well as Messe München Locations, we are looking for a Technical Manager (Specialist in Electrical Engineering & Event Technology) (m/f/d) starting immediately. This position is permanent and can be full-time or part-time.

Your Exciting Tasks

• You are responsible for the timely provision of event-related power supply for organizers and exhibitors to ensure the smooth running of events and coordinate regularly with those involved.
• You also advise and support colleagues, customers, and exhibitors in event preparation from an electrical engineering perspective and take on the planning of event-related power supplies.
• You will take the lead responsibility for the building-specific KNX systems and Gira visualizations, continuously develop them in coordination with colleagues, and coordinate the necessary medium- and long-term modernization measures.
• You enjoy design processes and support the various technical trades in procurement processes and modernization measures.
• Creating specifications, coordinating them with the affected stakeholders, and managing the procurement process from idea to implementation complements your varied daily work.
• After appropriate training, you will master various building technologies and operate the operational and building technology systems.
• You coordinate the planning and organization of repair measures and maintenance work with colleagues during event-free periods.
• You are responsible for the continuation and updating of all electrical engineering documentation and enjoy identifying innovative technologies in the event industry for the continuous development of the congress center.
• You plan smaller conversion and modernization measures in the building with colleagues, implement them as a team, and coordinate the annual maintenance work according to DGUV V3 of the mobile and stationary electrical engineering inventory.

What You Ideally Bring

• You have completed technical training as an electrical engineer or master electrician, or comparable training, and have several years of relevant professional experience.
• You are proficient in applying industry-related guidelines (e.g., DGUV-V3, VDE, and DIN regulations).
• You have a high IT affinity and are very open to new technologies/programs.
• MS Office programs are part of your daily work, and ideally, you have experience with KNX or Gira surface programming, Auto-CAD, or comparable programs.
• You possess organizational talent, teamwork skills, and strong planning competence, enjoy working independently in a dynamic environment, and are also flexible in terms of time.
• Do you also have fluent German and sound English skills, both written and spoken? Then you are our candidate!
