Excellent opportunity for a highly experienced TECHNICAL MARKETING MANAGER, qualified Actuary with corporate and Employee Benefits industry experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead product launches and roadshows.
  • Compile presentations and launch materials.
  • Present at webinars, in-person launches, client pitches, and broker engagements.
  • Support the company distribution teams.
  • Present to brokers and investment specialists on technical product information.
  • Handle ongoing technical product queries.
  • Write material (the company articles) for roll-out through marketing and PR campaigns.
  • Liaise with media and marketing to manage the rollout of campaigns and engagements.
  • Train internal and external staff and brokers on products and technical details.
  • Understand the corporate market and competitors.
  • Research competitor products and feed back into product development and distribution support.
  • Develop research material to position as a thought leader.
  • Develop actuarial white papers.
  • Build calculators and tools to help brokers and clients understand our proposition.
  • Work with product development to position new solutions for clients and tools for intermediaries.
  • Measure the effectiveness of different marketing campaigns.

Build relationships with:

  • The company sales consultants and intermediaries.
  • Back-office operations.
  • Training teams.
  • Marketing services.
  • The company management and executives.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Qualified actuary / nearly qualified actuary
  • 3 - 7 years' Actuarial experience
  • Top achiever
  • Knowledge of the corporate and employee benefits industry in SA
  • Excellent English and presentation skills
