Pacific International is partnering with a confidential, publicly traded global industrial technology organization recognized for its leadership in precision electronics and advanced electrical measurement solutions. The company supports mission‑critical applications across electrification, power electronics, renewable energy, and industrial markets worldwide.
As part of continued investment in North American growth, the organization is seeking a Technical Product & Field Application Manager to support key Automotive, Industrial, and Energy customers across the region. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product strategy, and customer engagement, playing a critical role in driving design‑in success and long‑term customer partnerships.
This is a highly visible, customer‑facing technical leadership position, working closely with Sales, Product Management, and R&D teams globally. The role combines hands‑on field application support with strategic input into product roadmap development, market intelligence, and new product introductions.
The successful candidate will bring deep technical expertise in power electronics or electrical measurement, paired with strong commercial awareness and communication skills. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical and application lead for a portfolio of electrical measurement and sensor solutions across Automotive, Industrial, and Energy customers
- Drive customer design‑ins and long‑term design wins through close collaboration with engineering teams
- Act as the primary technical interface between customers, Sales, Product Management, and R&D
- Support New Product Introductions (NPI) and customer development programs
- Provide advanced field application support and troubleshooting in power electronics and high‑voltage environments
- Translate customer requirements and market trends into actionable product and strategy insights
- Develop technical content including application notes, presentations, and benchmarking analyses
- Deliver technical trainings, workshops, and webinars for customers, sales teams, and partners
- Support quality investigations and act as an escalation point for complex technical issues
- Represent the organization as a technical expert at customer meetings and industry events
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in sensors, semiconductors, or power electronics
- Background in Field Application Engineering, Application Engineering, or Technical Product Management
- Strong understanding of power electronics topologies and system‑level integration
- Proven customer‑facing experience supporting complex, technical solutions
- Ability to operate effectively within a global, matrixed organization
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical detail into customer value
- Self‑driven, hands‑on, and comfortable balancing field execution with strategic initiatives
- Based in or willing to work from Detroit, MI or Milwaukee, WI, with regular travel across North America
