We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to support the Derivatives Operations function. This role is responsible for driving the design and delivery of trading and post-trade systems, leading initiatives across process optimization, system enhancements, product onboarding, and regulatory and operational compliance.

The ideal candidate has experience in fintech and/or derivatives technology, with strong knowledge of derivatives lifecycle workflows, data architecture, and enterprise trading systems, and can effectively translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Accountabilities

  • Partner cross-functionally with trading, operations, risk, finance, compliance, and technology teams to gather, define, and translate business and system requirements into scalable solutions
  • Analyze the end-to-end derivatives trade lifecycle (from trade capture through reporting) to identify gaps, risks, and optimization opportunities
  • Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to define, validate, and deliver technical solutions across trading and post-trade platforms
  • Own data and integration design, including source-to-target mappings, APIs, trade feeds, and system interfaces across the ecosystem
  • Support delivery execution by prioritizing backlog items, managing roadmap alignment, and driving continuous process improvement across derivatives operations

Qualifications and Experience

  • 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Business Analyst within financial services technology
  • Strong understanding of derivatives products, including swaps, futures, options, and forwards, as well as the full trade lifecycle

  • Experience working in Agile/SDLC environments, with exposure to roadmap prioritization and cross-functional delivery
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with derivatives post-trade lifecycle (interest rate, credit, FX, or equity derivatives)
  • Familiarity with financial messaging and data standards (e.g., FIX, FpML, SWIFT, JSON/XML)
  • Understanding of data controls, including lineage, reconciliation, and exception handling
  • Hands-on technical product delivery experience (backlog ownership, roadmap management, feature delivery)
  • Exposure to trading or investment platforms such as Aladdin, Calypso, or Apex
