Technical Product Owner

About

As Technical Product Owner, you will drive the vision, strategy, and delivery of the Developer and Cloud Platforms at DKV Mobility. You’ll own platform components, APIs, and integration capabilities, aligning them with business needs and architecture. You’ll govern non-functional requirements such as security, scalability, and observability while shaping modernization and documentation. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and data, delivering measurable platform improvements that enable growth and sustainable mobility.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision, mission, and execution of the Developer Platform and Cloud Platform
• Own end-to-end platform components including APIs, platform services, integrations, cloud building blocks
• Serve as central interface between business, architecture, engineering, and operations
• Translate requirements into actionable technical requirements and platform solutions
• Govern technical quality and non-functional requirements (security, scalability, resilience, observability) and maintain documentation (APIs, ADRs, guidelines)
• Identify and manage technical debt; steer modernization initiatives; evolve platform with API standards and reusable patterns

Qualifications

• Deep technical understanding of developer portals (e.g., Backstage)
• Knowledge of APIs, event-driven architectures, cloud technologies (Azure)
• Experience with Kubernetes, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines
• Collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams (backend, frontend, cloud, data, AI, DevOps)
• Strong understanding of non-functional requirements (security, availability, resilience, observability)
• Structured, priority-driven approach to technical debt and modernization
• Excellent communication and decision-making in international, cross-functional teams
